Euro Trending Down Versus Japanese Yen [EUR/JPY]
Friday, September 07, 2007-The euro moved down against the Japanese yen in the Asian deals on Friday. Falling from its early Asian high of 158.33, the pair hit as low as 157.24 by about 1.25 am Eastern Time. Downside, the pair is likely to target 155.76. Investors now turn towards German July trade balance data, which has been slated for release at 2.00 am ET.
Euro Down Against Franc [EUR/CHF]
Friday, September 07, 2007-The European currency moved down against the Swiss franc in the early Asian deals on Friday. Down from yesterday's close of 1.6450, the pair hit as low as 1.6427 at about 1:05 am ET. If the pair weakens further, 1.6434 can likely be the next target level. Investors now await the German July trade Balance data, which is expected at 2:00 am ET.
Euro Sees Uncertainty Versus Greenback [EUR/USD]
Friday, September 07, 2007- The euro strengthened against the US dollar in the early Asian deals on Friday. The pair equaled 1.3702 by about 7.15 am Eastern Time, which set a 1-week high for the euro. However, the pair reversed its direction thereafter and hit as low as 1.3664 by about 10.35 pm ET. Since then, the pair has been seeing uncertainty in direction and as of 1.10 am it was quoted at 1.3670.
